generic weight hole

My brother wants a hole to increase reaction/flare not sure what his pap is and won't have time before he leaves to bowl to check it so was wondering if there is a generic hole that would do it.

Why to risky??I was thinking maybe nine inch from grip center and up 1/2 inch ( he is somewhat of a spinner) or maybe 6 3/4 down from the pin through the cg.

Your initial post made no mention of your brother being a possible spinner and I said, too risky, because of probable flaring over holes. You seem to have answered your own question, good luck.
