Is there any way to enhance the mass bias of a ball (assymetrical core) using a weight hole?  My thought is that as long as the hole is not directly on the mass bias (which may remove some of the assymetry of the core), that it probably doesn't have any great effect, but I'm not 100% sure.  If it does make a difference, I would guess that a hole 6 3/4" from the MB would have the greatest effect (sort of along the same lines as a weight hole 6 3/4" from the pin gives the greatest enhancement).

I don't think your idea will work.

Take the Zone asymmetric cores, for example. The locator pin marks the PSA, which can be described as a mass bias, meaning that the ball is biased toward spinning around that axis by the mass of the core. The locator pin on a Zone ball marks the spin axis that has the highest rg, which is the axis that has the most leverage working against any spin on that axis. Generally speaking, the mass creating the leverage is located 90 degrees from the locator pin. Therefore, if you drill a hole 90 degrees from the locator pin, then you will likely decrease the mass bias by removing some of the mass that makes the PSA the highest rg spin axis in the ball. In other words, by drilling 90 degrees from the locator pin, you will decrease the rg of the PSA, decreasing the mass bias.

By this logic, if you wanted to enhance the mass bias, then you would drill into the locator pin, which would further increase the rg of the PSA.

Theoretically, this might work on MB balls that actually use mass to create the MB.  As I've said before, "mass bias" and "asymmetric" are lousy terms, and I really think that Brunswick's Preferred Spin Axis idea is better.

As CK pointed out, how do you remove mass from the Zone core to increase the MB strength?  From where should it come?  The Zone core isn't really asymmetric, there's isn't really more or less mass on one side than the other.  Similarly for the Vanguard core.  Where's the extra mass?  I can't say, and without weighing the core, you probably can't either.  It could be a negative mass bias like Visionary's core.

Some cores, yes.  Many of Storm's asyms clearly have extra mass on one side, as do some of Track's and the old Morich Ravage core.  You could put a hole on the opposite side of the ball (13.5" from the marked MB through the pin) and increase the strength.  

I'm not sure how that would affect static balance, you'd have to have very little side weight to start with, since most MB balls get drilled with the MB on the positive side and the hole would be on the negative side.  It will probably also affect flare, though I can't easily figure out what the effect would be.
