Does that mean anything. Will there be a difference in reaction between a ball that has a 7" difference vs a ball with a 12" difference?

MB "should" be 6 3/4" from the pin through the CG, but not all of them are located directly through the CG. But, the mb should always be 6.75" from the pin.

TKE,
How right you are. I have two of the Crimson Executioners, drilled a little different from one another of course, and both are very hard hitting balls. Wish they were still available.

If anyone out there is worried about the scores being too high, try duckpin!!

Not all MB are 6.75" from the pin, the executioner line from visionary has the MB 11 1/4" from the pin throught the cg to the MB. I havn't tried one of these balls but have seen them thown and they hit like mac trucks awsome carry.

I play with HAND when need be or straight when it scores

What you are considering the MB marking is not the actual Mass Bias/Preferred Spin Axis, it is the secondary pin to show where the asymmetrical part of the core is, that does NOT make it the actual MB/PSA. In order to find the actual MB/PSA you would need to spin it on a Determinator like pre-marked balls are.
