Has anyone else noticed that their 'strong' position for mass bias plaecement is under the thumb?
Thanks for any input.

The strong position will vary from bowler to bowler in appearance. The strong position for the mass bias is halfway between the bowlers track and the vertical axis line. So depending on that PAP, the "look" of where the MB is will be different from person to person.

Thank you, Brian.
Now, will anyone believe you?

not that it matters any. as long as you choose a higher initial top weight ball, the reaction will always be "strong".
*runs and hides in the corner*

The question isn't what are we going to do today, it's what aren't we going to do today.

soup, funny.....but that's not really true........

I always knew that under the thumb and anything right (rh)
was strong, but I didn't really know there was a definate way to
find it.

"Fodder for the mudder?"
"Pablum for the masses?"
You, Lonce, 4" over. Nah, you don't spin the ball THAT much!!

having a PAP of 4" does not mean the you spin the ball. it, just me that you have early turn tendicies. I kind of turn it with my thumb more than my fingers if that makes sense. I still have a large track circumference and diameter

The information I have is that you are use the first track flare ring as a reference. You place the mb half way between that and the vertical axis line. I posted this after realizing that I had drilled a ball for myself (Shock Trauma) with the mb half way between the grip line and the val. I remember drilling the ball quickly and made the mistake of placing the mb there instead of in the strong position, where I intended it to be. I really don't think it made a difference, the ball is just as strong and angular at the break point as my other stuff with the mb under the thumb.

I just admitted that I made a mistake!!! I thought ball drillers never did that!lol
