Am I using a Right-handed drilling?
« on: December 09, 2008, 01:02:53 AM »
I’m a lefty with medium revs and above average ball speed.  I struggled all of last year with over / under ball reactions. I have a new ball driller (who is a regional pro) and he re-vamped my arsenal. He told me that everything I had was basically drilled with a stacked leverage drilling. He suggested I go with these two drillings:

Drilling 1 done on a Rival

xx0xx0xxx
xxxxxxPxx
xxCxxxxxx
xxxx0xxxx

This drilling gives me medium length and a hard arc.

Drilling 2 done on the Momentum.

xxxxxxPxx
xx0xx0xxx
xxCxxxxxx
xxxx0xxxx

This gives me great length and one of the hardest turns into the pocket from any dry boards.

Both drillings has helped me bowl much better than last year.
My question is, aren’t these basically right-handed drillings?
Why would they work for me so well?

No they aren't right handed drillings. It looks as though he has given you longer pin positions like 5"-5 1/2" with the mass bias is a strong position. Looks like you have found a driller that has matched your equipment and layouts to your game.

Be very happy and make sure to thank him.
