mb and cg question for my scorchin
« on: March 27, 2006, 02:53:00 PM »
Hello All
First post here, I was looking at my "Scorchin Inferno" and noticed that I couldn't see any markings for the cg and mb points so could someone tell me how its done with a Brunswick ball?

Of course the pin is there but wheres the cg and mb?

Btw, I can see them on my "The One" as they stand out very easy

Thanks for your assistance.
Now throwing pretty much all flavors...

All balls manufactured at Brunswick (including current MoRich balls and I think also Lane#1) have a small, round puncture mark on their CG, no color pin or engraving like Storm or Ebonite. You might have to search a bit.

The SCI has no MB marker since it has no remarkable MB influence. You will mostly find such a marker on asymmetrical core balls (like Brunswick's Zones), sometimes on low mass bias balls, although the MB incluence is insignificant (I remember Ebonite's TPC balls having a PSA/MB marker, and some Hammer balls having a "LMB" (low mass bias) engraving).
