MB drilled out

I'm looking at getting a ball that's currently drilled straight right down the centerline and the MB is drilled out... What will be the effect on a ball with the MB in the thumb and drilled out?

Thanks GT. I have to admit I'm still confused after reading that, but will re-read it to digest it better. One thing for sure. The ball I'm looking at has an IT right on the MB, so probably a substantial part of the MB is drilled out.

The MB is not drilled out.  The MB marking is drilled out.

Good point, thanks. However, if there's an IT outer right on the MB marker, can you automatically assume the MB is untouched underneath?

Drilling directly into the marking makes the asymmetry stronger.
