Me again - Dual angle layout
« on: November 30, 2011, 08:33:34 AM »
Hi all.

As it turned out today, our alley manager/owner decided today that he will send my coach and me on a ball drilling seminar and that we'll run our Pro Shop. I started today by trying to explain MoRich's dual angle layouts and how to determine PAP and everything.

Now, I have a few questions regarding following pictures. I marked my friend's Missing Link, but nothing was drilled. I only marked drilling angle, PIN to PAP and angle to the VAL. Layout used had angle sum of 100 because he is neither speed, neither rev dominant. I used 55 x 4 1/2" 45 layout. If his ball is drilled that way, what can we expect? Did I choose right layout for controlled hook? His PAP position (5 10/16" and 1 1/4" up) and (non)dominance were predetermined by previous Pro Shop operator.

thanks in advance for your answers.

Cheers
