What's the difference?
« on: January 19, 2004, 09:05:05 PM »
What is the difference in having a top flip block than in having a bottom flip block. Is the Motion different down the lane does the top have more torque?

Im not sure on this, so this post is based on theory only, but I would think having a top flip block would give easier revs off the hand, because it is helping the ball spin with gravity, the flip block is falling, where as a bottom flip block, you are pulling up therefore slowing revs? Again, based totally upon theory, an educated guess

Actually that might be backwards when you think about.
Sure the flip block is on top, but when you are holding the ball,
the flip block is actually on the bottom going up.  A bottom
flip block would be on the top in your hands.

This is why I liked the Rhino PRo T2 over the Rhino Pro Teal

I think it relates to RG. Flip block close to outer shell, higher RG.

Bowling Kid is correct. Plus, the flip block on top will give you more length, wheil the bottom block gets the ball rolling sooner. =:^D

These statements seem contradictory.  Can you clarify?
