For what ball? For what lane conditions? For what lane surface? For what speed and rotation?
You provided no information to allow anyone to help you, so I'm just gonna be a dick and tell you that the best layout is the one that magically teaches you to adjust.
Dick lol. But, very true.

Hi rev player, mild bowling ball drilled pin above the fingers and keep the cg in the palm. If it has a mb let it fall where it does, just keep the cg in the palm to avoid a weight hole. Pin to pap 4.5-5.5".
Average rev player I would do the same.
Lower rev player I would move the pin below the fingers and keep the cg in the palm. Would keep with a mild to medium strength ball.
For most people these should work. This has to make a lot of assumptions because of the lack or information on everything. Revs, speed, ball and condition. I''m also guessing your not drilling the ball so who ever is drilling it will already know what would work better for you or where you bowl.

Well....since your going down and in from 15 and you only need 2 boards to get to the pocket I would say it doesnt matter what drill you use.

like was said already. more info is needed, the more the better.
what if 2 people ask the same question?
one has a low tilt and the other is a spinner. one might then need a virtual gravity and the other a much more mild ball.
the best info you can give is pap, speed, revs, and lane conditions, and lane surface.

sorry guys for a tweener about 15 mph avg rotation 200 whatever they call it and for dry lanes with a toasty backend
-
You are going to play straight down 15 on a dry shot with toasty backends.....
Then, the ball for you is a white dot, shiny, drill doesn''t matter.

I was going to say plastic.
-
thank you for reply i figured that i needed a white dot or something plastic
-
Also consider one of the new urethane balls with dynamic cores, the Storm Natural for example. You'll get more hook and more hitting power. You may have to swing the ball a little instead of playing straight down and in. -- JohnP

Try a Starburst XXXL. Plastic with a core. =:^D
-
Depending on the way you release, you could try 105 or 135 degree layout..
Should get you alot of length with a mild, controllable back end..
