Need a layout
« on: November 13, 2007, 02:16:13 PM »
Alright, first some specs.

PAP: 4 1/4 over, 1/4 up (I THINK, this is off top of my head I think thats pretty close)
Speed: Low, around 14.3-14.5
Revs: Moderate
Span: 4 5/8-4 3/4
Right Handed

I want to be able to play a very direct line on a house shot. (Lets say a norm duke type line). Many times on a house shot with the low ball speed I get a lot of over/under reactions and I am greatly effected by transition. I want to be able to play more direct line for better consistency without relying on a ball change. What do you think would be a good layout?

Great length with a late arc to the pocket.

Edit: I was looking at plugging and redrilling my Sahara, sorry about that, maybe that would help

With your ball speed and rev rate I would go one of two ways.  Either pin 1 1/2" from PAP 75*MB, if needed weight hole on PAP.  Or Pin 5" from PAP 0* MB with large hole one inch inside of PAP.  Both should be really tame and allow you to play out in the dirt with smooth transition down lane.
