With apologies in advance, I know that I have seen the answer to this problem somewhere on the board in the dark past, but I'm unable to find it using search.
On almost all my equipment, the Vise IT is locked in solid, but I have one ball where I can pull it up about an eighth of an inch. Does anyone know what the remedy is that will keep it in place?
Thanks in advance

Vise is using a new system to install their "ball ITs" They no longer glue the gray and white pieces of the ball it together. They grey piece at the bottom of the ball it needs to be hit down and locked into the white piece of the ball IT. Vise gives pro shops a rod with the new system to do this, but I am sure you can find something of a similar shape to bang it in a little bit. Careful, don't hit it too hard, dont want it to break on you. Good Luck

It may just be some slack in the threads of the piece that is in the ball (excuse me I don't know the Vise names for each piece) and the IT insert.
I would check to see if it might be something like that or if the piece in the ball is acually moving.
If the piece in the ball is actually moving then get that fixed right away.

Sounds like the Ball-It is moving. I would take it back to the pro shop or to your pro shop and have him re-install it. You could get by with just knocking it in a little, but if it is loose, it will probably loosen again.
If you didn't like that strike, just watch this one!

Ok, thanks to all for the feedback. I'll head back over.
