Plug storage

Anyone know the best way to store Wizard plug? Cold, like 60* to 65* or warmer like 72* or so?

In my experience it is best to split up the gallon jug into smaller airtight containers and store the extra in a cooler environment.  I usually part the gallons into quart sized pickling jars and store it in a cool place.  Nothing wrong with keeping it in the gallon jug if you use it often, but if it is left unused for a while it will crystalize and be useless.

I've never had any problems with any of the plug that I've used - Ebonite and another quick set that I use (not "offical" bowling ball plug, but very similar to Wizard).  I keep them in my garage, which is not climate-controlled.  Summer temps get into the high 80s and winter into the 30s or 40s (usually about 10-20 degrees warmer than outside).

I keep them stored in a base cabinet - off the floor.  I think as long as you keep them sealed, the air is probably more of a factor than storage temp.

Do you leave the pumps in or take them out after each use?

I was planning on leaving the pumps in and storing in my basement where I do my work. It stays about 65* down there.

I store my wizard plug in my garage since all my pro shop equipment is in there, and living in Alaska, the temperature is all over the friggin place, and the only problem, and it's not really a problem, is the hardener crystalizes at the very tip of the pump. I take a little screwdriver and break it out, usually in one solid piece and everything flows fine after that. And I don't use my plug very often. I really wouldn't be too concerned about it.
