Need Help for a friend
« on: November 24, 2010, 01:43:05 AM »
I'm taking my friend to get her furl pearl drilled up today. When we get to the shop I'm gonna have them find her PAP. But my question in how should i get it laid out? She kinda spins the ball a bit (seems like it to me) but her track is relatively high. Her revs are low. We need a layout that will get her ball into a roll for some better carry

Ask the pro shop operator to watch her bowl and suggest a layout.  --  JohnP

Not to be offensive but yes...you don't drill for a living.  Most people that come in a pro shop wanting a drilling because they read somewhere it would be good are dead wrong.  If the pro shop is good you shouldn't need to "compare" to what he/she suggests.

If you were sick and went to the doctor, would you tell him what was wrong with you...or would you see that he went to school for it and trust his opinion?

+1.  That's what he's there for.  If he won't find another shop.
