Hey all I have a Rogue Cell drilled 45*x4"x30* and an 11/16" hole 1-1/2" deep 2" down my VAL.  This layout gives me a hook/set layout but I'm having a hard time finding a condition for this layout.  However, I don't know if it's more than line I'm playing than it is the condition.  I know this is a layout that favors oil but do I need to play a tighter inside line?  It seems like if I swing it a bit (over 15 at the arrows with a BP around 10) it just flattens out.  It looks as if there is no recovery but I don't think that's it, once hit hits the end of the patter it goes into a heavy roll.  

What lane condition do you guys use a hook and set layout on and what kind of line do you play?  Thanks for any help.

I agree completely with T-GOD in this case. The hookset is a great reaction for controlling the lanes, one thing to note is a lot of times when playing the lanes that way you need to shift you pocket a little higher than normal to get carry, this is all from personal experience but its a bit harder to carry a corner with this reaction as the ball isn't driving as hard at the deck.
