Rolling over thumb/ finger

I am posting this out of curiosity.  A friend of mine just had an Exception drilled this past weekend.  the guy did not take into account that my friend has a VERY high track and tends to roll over the edge of the finger and thumb.  I am just curious as to what pin positions would be good for him in order to pull the track off of the holes.  the Exception came with i beleive a 3" pin and 2.67 oz of top weight.  was drilled with pin over fingers with cg kicked out about an inch.  Now has a balance hole as well to try to pull it off the holes.  if you could please enlighten me on ways of drilling to help this out i would appreciate it.

A possible sollution to that problem is putting the MB in the strong position. I think but I could be wrong so don't bite my head off for that. Maybe what you should be focusing more on is the placement of the MB instead of the CG because of it being an asymetrical core. You also could put the MB further than that but I've never seen it that far out.

Dont worry about me biting your head off.  I'm not a pro shop guy nor have any huge amount of knowledge.  just had some curiosity as to some layouts that could help get this guy off the thumb and fingers.  i should have mentioned the mb is at about 5 o'clock in relation to his thumb

To add to what Dyno-Joe stated, keep away from any drilling that the pin is 5" or greater from PAP (usually anything with pin above fingers). I've also noticed that pin-in balls aren't good for people with high tracks.

From my experience, any leverage, axis-leverage, or any variations of those does a decent job of pushing the track down enough to miss the fingers and thumb.
