Rogue Drill
« on: March 22, 2010, 03:09:45 AM »
Finally got my Rogue redrilled. I had always been disappointed by what the first driller had given me so I finally got around to getting it redrilled. This guy actually figured my PAP for the right way. He layed out my thumb hole at a better pitch for me, it was tearing the side of my thumb off every other week.

Should I get a good back end move out of this ball?

It depends on your style of game, i.e. cranker or tweener.  How was the ball layed out, i.e. dual angle technique or other?  Did you work with the driller and explain what you wanted out of the ball?  Its hard to tell how a ball will react without the specific information.  By just looking at the way it is drilled, you can't really tell how its going to react.

Medium Speed around 15 MPH
Medium Rev 250 300 maybe, never measured them.
PAP 4 7/8 up 5/8's
Sorry this was in my profile, assumed everyone read them like me. i am a dork

Yes I worked with the driller, he listened to what I wanted, something that would break strong and drive through the pins. He was able to determine my PAP on this ball when i brought it in by the track line.

Well I got to throw this last night in league and WOW what a difference a good drilling makes. I can now throw this ball from anywhere on the lanes and change revs and speed and find the pocket. Working out details to get a little better pin carry is all I need to do now. Man I am happy though and no pain in my thumb at all last night, I would say he got the pitch on my thumb perfect.
