Drill for 2hands
« on: January 22, 2009, 04:11:03 PM »
Hi
it's possible to drill a ball with topweight 3 and pin 3 5/8" without the thumb, into the Usbc specs? :

"c. Aball drilled without a thumb hole may not have
more than 1 ounce difference between any two
halves of the ball."

Any suggestions is very appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

You should be able to make it legal by placing the cg in the bridge and drilling the size and depth to remove 2 5/8 to 4 5/8 oz (I'd shoot for removing 3 oz).

Why don't you just put a thumbhole in it?  You are horribly limiting your ability to utilize layouts and weight holes by not putting the third hole in it.
