In drilling I always see the term leverage. Can someone please explain this to me. As in what this drilling would look like an what type of reaction. Thank you.

Leverage is when the pin is at 3 3/8" from the Positive Axis Point. That's the maximum flare/hook (in general) that you'll get out of a ball.

Label leverage = pin at 3 3/8" from PAP, CG in center of grip.

Max leverage = pin and CG at 3 3/8" from the PAP (pin usually 1-2" from the ring finger, CG more or less stacked underneath, just below midline)

Axis leverage = pin at 3 3/8" from PAP, CG on PAP

Rev leverage = pin at 3 3/8" from PAP (closer to midline) and CG to the right of the thumb.
