First, in a core, what determines a "mass bias". Is it a certian heavier point in the core other then the top weight were the pin is? Where the marking on the ball for the MB, do you pretty much ignore the CG? I was told when drilling a ball with a mass bias the MB marking becomes the CG. If that is the case, is the CG just the center but not the center of gravity? I"m confuse also cause looking at some of these layouts that have a MB they are so much different then regular balls. I know my Apex Adrenaline for example even though it's layed out for length and control it is an odd layout. Elaborate on Mass Bias and the drillings for it please. Thanks.

This is a pretty good simple explanation on MB

Mass Bias
The position in a bowling ball, other than the pin, where the mass is closest to the outside circumference of a bowling ball. Mass Bias appears only in “pin out” balls. The offsetting of the weight block tilts the mass to one side creating a center of gravity away from the pin. There is now “Mass Biased” to one side of the ball.

Hope this helps, if not...think of a golf ball or baseball, the core off to one side, that point where the core is closest to the cover is the Mass Bias.

Yes, in layout sheet you may be looking at...delete term GC..insert MB, basicially and spanky is 100% correct

az summed it up pretty well, but to add to that, yes, in an assymmetric ball with MB you lay it out using pin and MB to PAP rather than pin and CG to PAP.
