over this year. bowling in various college tournaments i have noticed holes in my sport arsenal. i am totally revamping everything for next year with a couple exceptions. here is the stuff i have currently:

benchmark: rival 5x41/2 with a 1" hole 1 1/2" down on the VAL
           arch rival 4 1/4x5 with a 1" hole 2"down the VAL (
medium skid flip: wrath dead flush: 5 1/2x5 no hole. its the recomended long and strong layout
medium early/smooth: blue vibe: 2x4 1/2. 1" hole on my PAP. recommended controlled arc layout. i would compare it to the RICO without the continuation.
entry level: jazz 5 1/2"x4 1/2 no hole. recommend length with arc layout.


here is what im thinking. trash the jazz, i never see enough burn on the left side to use it more than 10 games a year. the dead flush has way too much over under for my liking so......
i am thinking i need smoother and more controllable pieces. i have another blue vibe in the basement NIB so i was thinking of putting a longer layout such as the one i have on the jazz. i have also looked at the avalanche solid, how close in reaction is the AS and blue vibe? i have also been thinking about the cherry vibe with surface and/or original noize to fill the gap between my rival and blue vibe. what kind of layouts would you guys suggest for the new stuff? i like the layout on the rival. also if you have any other suggestions for balls. i have a sauce coming to go above the rivals.
