Can someone direct me to some resource where i can learn how to "put lines" on a bowling ball. ie. to learn the terminology and the know how to mark out the reference point for drilling the ball please? o and i dont even know the proper names for the marking out tools used.
I guess i am asking for information to become an amateur driller.
I hope i wont be faced with hostilities because i am definitely not a threat to your pro shop business.
I just want to learn to layout, map and drill my own stuff. well maybe i will still leave the drilling to the pro shop when i get my balls from them.
Im just sick of pro shops that punch balls using the Ouija board method.
I liken a bowler to a driver and a proshop operator to a mechanic and the ball to a car.
I am learning how to drive, but my passion for "driving" have led me to learn more abt my car and its technologies. and it seem like natural progression for all car drivers to have a little know how on tuning or self repair their cars.
at the very min know enough to put off unscrupulous mechanics.
so yup, how do u mark out those reference lines to punch up a bowling ball?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
