Here is what I am facing from my league: Everyone bumps the dry at 10-7 at the end of the pattern (looks like 39'). Straight players play 9,8,7, heavy handed players play 18 right to the spot. Tweeners like me are in the middle 14. I am fine throught 3 games and end up moving to 18 to the spot... all is good.
However after league there are pots games. And I end up with this HUGE over under situation. If I play 18/20 and miss left I bucket. If I miss right early I go through the nose. Its like the dry is way to dry and oil inside is way to slick.
In leagues I use balls with 5.5 x 5 with pin above and some surface (1000) on hammer's (bite, perl and venom). Since going to these I have been averaging 240+ for the last 5 weeks. However they dont work after the lanes have broke down.
What I am looking for is a layout to nutralize the over under. Not jump so hard off of the dry but yet be able to overcome the hold left. Any suggestions? Maybe this is a surface adjustment say 800 I dont know.
