Offset thumb/center line transfer
« on: July 30, 2009, 12:33:09 PM »
Does anyone have any info or links reference how to layout a bowling ball with either or both of these methods and if there is any difference between the two?
Thanks

It's two differant types of drilling.A offset is where you move the thumb off the centerline one way or the other(Righty-Lefty).Centerline tranfer is where you move the angle of the finger's away from the centerline to the thumb.I used to offset my thumbs until I learned how to rotate a ball.I still use the centerline tranfer on my fingers an use it on some of the balls I drill for other people

Thanks!  Last question...both layouts seem to be similar, are there any differences between the CLT and the offset?  Pros and cons?
