Depends on what your current pitches are and what you are going to.  More information like that is needed.

with different pitches the mold will stick up higher out of the ball in different places. You could put one in with the new pitches and file it to see what it feels like. I do know drillers who try to pre-set the pitches so you don't have to file. you just drill at zero. If you have one of those, you will have to do some math to come out with the correct new pitch and do some filing.

When I used to use a thumb mold, the mold was 1/4 reverse and 0 lateral. Any time I drilled a ball, all I had to do was drill the hole in the ball at 0-0, insert the mold and go bowl with no further adjustments necessary. As I started changing my grip from a bit of a stretched fit to a more relaxed fit, I found that I needed to reduce the reverse thumb pitch from 1/4 to 1/8 reverse. To do this, all I had to do was to change the drilling of the hole in the ball from 0-0 to 1/8 forward and 0 lateral and then after inserting the mold, all I had to do was trim the top of mold at the front side of thumb hole a wee bit.
