Topic discussed many times.  There is no such thing as offset thumb, center line transfer, etc.  You can only lay out a sphere in one way if you keep all the measurements the same (pitch, span).  In order to offset a thumb, you are changing the pitch of the thumb and/or fingers.  You can call it whatever you want but all you're doing is changing the pitch in the thumb if you keep the span correct.

You should tell that to Jeff Carter,Norm Duke,Tommy Delutsz(?spelling)to name a few.Offset thumbs an centerline transfer's allows the ball to sit more on the palm of ur hand.I have used both for about 10 yrs now.I also drill the CLT for a few friends that had some pain in thier fingers due to age...NO more pain

My thoughts exactly!!!  From a technical standpoint all of the various grip layout methods can be transferred to one another.  I look at offset thumbs, CLT's and the other systems as being just that...systems for taking a persons standard T-Grip specs and modifying them.
