Just curious, if anybody have tried putting the pin and CG both at 5 1/2" from the PAP (assuming the PAP is 5 1/2" x 0"), and pin is above fingers with Pin to CG 3-4"inch. My guess would be more length and medium-less hook?
So what your opinion? if there are any picture do show to me.

The cg distance to PAP doesn't matter at all....what matters is the placement of the weight hole. With it being near the centerline it probably wouldn't have one. You're probably going to get a clean move through the front part of the lane, and a continous motion through the backend.

I guess the CG does matter then, because you don't need a hole with it near the centerline. Hmmm... =:^D

The CG only matters in determining where to place the whole. The CG ITSELF doesn't change reaction....
It disturbs me that you don't understand the difference, but yet claim to be so educated in ball reaction.

The CG in that position obviously gives the bal a certain reaction, which is why you don't need a hole to change it..!! =:^D

WOW! We haven't visited cgnomaddah in a while! It is still amazing to me that 7/8 pos side vs 7/8 neg side will make NO difference in reaction, hit, OR carry. Sorry, but I still don't believe it.

Coming back to the original subject... yes, with that PAP you should get some good length out of it, with a late but pretty sharp hook (if you use it on a polished ball). It is good for dry lanes, and if you want to open them up, but is prone to fail on long oil - but it also depends on the core (low vs. high RG) and the surface prep.
I have an old Columbia Reaction Rip with a similar setup, probably 5x5. It is a pearl reactive ball, polished, and has a high RG AND high differential core. It is my preferred ball for summertime, when the lanes get grippy - it has one of the sharpest reactions in my arsenal, somthing I'd call a real hockey-stick like hook. I think it really comes from the overall good combo of drilling, core and surface.
