Title: Pin axis drilling?

Can some explain this to me. I was reading in an article and the author said you should always have a ball with this layout in your arsenal.

basically pin is on PAP and cg in center of grip

Pin on PAP, CG (usually) grip center, on on line from PAP towards GC.  Very even rolling, lots of control, good on dry or spotty conditions.  Basically, the closer to the PAP you put the pin the more control you get.

True, the closer the pin is to the PAP, the more stable the drilling is, the less flare you get, and the more control!
