« on: November 13, 2006, 12:19:00 AM »
thinking of drilling this on my Storm Razor Wire.
what kind of reaction would it create?  smooth arc?
i throw right handed.
pin 3 1/4 from PAP
MB 7 1/2 from pap (just left of thumb)

* = Pin
c = CG
# = MB

Does the Razor Wire have a marked MB? If so i'd be cautious of putting in left of your thumb (unless your a lefty of course) You could track over every hole.

The Razor Wire has a very weak MB that is not marked.  This drilling will give you about 3-4 inches of flare and still be rather strong on the backend since it's a higher RG ball.  This is one of the best balls ever made for power players IMO.

Yep... my all-time favorite layout.  Good length with a strong, but not usually flippy backend reaction (unless the ball is flippy by nature AND polished).  Probably best suited for higher rev and/or lower speed players

ok well i drilled it with pin above fingers 3 1/4" from PAP
and MB 7 1/2" from PAP, or left of thumb. ball rolls nice
through heads and midlane, and a hard turn to the pocket.
this ball is a lot stronger than i thought. does not like
carrydown but jumpy off the dry. well i wanted something
for dry lanes and this wont do it. did well on a fresh shot,
until the carrydown, than i was fishin for that dry spot.

overall i liked the drill, i think if i take the polish off
i might like it more.
