Anyone have any ideas on how to drill a ball for a guy that is a high track player, with very little turn....almost forward roll!!! He wants the ball to hook a bunch on the backend of the lane...
I have drilled him a few balls with no success!!! Please help!

Because of his lack of side roll it is impossible to make a ball turn hard.

Think of it like a car driving....

It won't turn unless the wheel is turned, no matter how good the tires or the tuning of the engine.

You could drill something higher RG that has a weak pin.  This will let the ball store as much energy as possible.  The ball is going to make a quicker move, but it will only turn as much as he turns the ball.

why dont you try some forward pitch in his ring finger and reverse in his middle finger to create somemore sideways turn. But other than pitching  the mass about 3 inches from his thumb and keeping the ring bove the fingers there is not alot you can do without out him willing to make some adjustments.

Roger do you mean the other way around?  I have always used forward in the middle finger...the ring helps you stay behind the ball.

If he wants a bigger backend then he needs to learn how to put more side roll on the ball.  It's that simple!

I don't recommend a bowler changing their grip to get more side roll.  I would recommend a coach!
