Pin cown layout
« on: January 18, 2016, 02:34:50 AM »
Hello Folks,
Ok, heres my question. I always have my balls drilled with the pin above the bridge or at around 1:00/2:00 around the ring finger.

Usually, my drilling is at 4 1/2X4X2 or 4X4x2 so my question is would I use the same drill patterns if I went with the pin below the fingers (rico) or would I use something else???? Thanks

im not sure i understand the question. a 4" pin to pap pin up layout is not the same as 4" pin to pap pin down as the VAL angle (in your terminology the "pin buffer") would be bigger causing less response to friction or being smoother.

also just FYI RICO layout doesnt refer to pin down layouts in general. it is a specific pin down layout where the pin is in the center of your grip and the drill angle is 45*
