The closer Pin-Pap distance will result in.......?

The further Pin-Pap distance will result in.....?

The closer Pin-Pap distance will result in earlier roll, more arc.

The further Pin-Pap distance will result in later roll, more skid/snap.

Also important to know - for symmetrically cored balls 3 3/8" pin to PAP is maximum flare.  From 3 3/8" to 0 and 3 3/8" to 6 3/4" the flare decreases linearly to essentially 0.  Asymmetrically cored balls do not follow this rule.  --  JohnP
