Pin Positions
« on: December 03, 2003, 11:27:46 PM »
Just wondering what the difference would be between putting the pin above and to the right of the fingers (for a right hander) and putting the pin below the bridge? thanks

With the pin above the fingers the ball will skid a little further before getting into a roll, or hooking.  Since the ball gets a little more length with the pin up there, the backend is slightly larger.

The pin under the ring will start a little earlier on the lane than the pin over, plus it will also smoothen the backend out some giving you a lilttle more control.
