Pin under thumb anyone?

Anybody out there ever try this layout? I am looking for a layout that will let me play straighter up the boards during league.

I need to be able to use a little bit of coverstock to get the midlane but don't want the ball to turn sideways off the spot.


I found the layout somewhere and it said that's what this layout SHOULD do and was curious if anyone has tried it....

Anybody???

Doug,

At one point Rick Benoit was using these types of layouts to control the ball reaction during transtions on the tour if i'm not mistaken.  I used one of these layouts on a Nemesis back in the day after attending one of his seminars.  It will slow the transtion time dramatically by using the negative axis point instead of the positive and moving the bow tie down.  There is probably some more info about this availiable on the web.

I would suggest using a 2" pin to PAP and placing a weight hole in your PAP. This is a safer, much easier to control layout and make sure you use a ball that has a cleaner coverstock.
You can adjust the weight hole accordingly to minimize or increase flare to change reaction.
You can play straighter with this layout and have a much smoother back end reaction.
