I was wondering who use them and what are the advantages of have one...

i think its just for if u have arthritis in ur pinky.

Comfort is basically the only purpose of one. It doesnt help you with revs any, since if you think about it, most revs are produce by your middle finger, and the ring just helps to balance the ball and get that last little umph out of it.
