Pitch Problem (I Think)
« on: March 02, 2006, 03:44:04 AM »
I have recently been practicing cupping my wrist throughout my swing in an effort to gain a smooth and powerful release.  One problem though, at my swing falls into my backswing, my thumb is secure and tight, but the ball immediately wants to come off my hand forcing me to squeeze.  I think I need more forward pitch (I believe my pitch is about 1/8 or 1/4 back right now).  Also, I had shortened my span a while back for a better fit (not a huge difference), could this be a problem too?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could be too much reverse, but I'd also look to the bevel (may be too much).
