Has anyone ever purposely Pitched a Weight Hole?
What are the advantages/disadvantages?
Does it have to be drilled into the Weight Block to be effective?

I do it all the time and have posted a very very detailed description of weightholes and pitches. But, since my entire account had been deleted all my posts are gone. Thousnads of them. It's much too long to type again, so maybe, someone copied it and will post it for you.

Pitched weight holes have a couple of purposes.
1. It enables you to move the hole in a direction as to not have the ball flare over the hole, but still take out the proper side, finger and/or top/bottom weight values.
2. To take out the proper weight values, without hitting the core, which could/will change the cores shape and/or disturb the high density parts of the core. =:^D
