I just recently purchased a phenom from a fellow member of this site.  I am welcoming all opinions about drilling it.  I am redoing my arsenal this season and the first new ball that I got was an animal which is drilled 3" from my PAP to the pin and the Mass Bias is swung 1" past my VAL.  I like the way this ball rolls and the phenom is supposed to hook more than the animal whereas it's a strong arc compared to the animal which track says is just an arc.

I was thinking about getting it drilled 4x2 or 4 1/2 x 3 1/2...but i would like all opinions about any drillings for the phenom especially if you have owned one and threw one.

mine is drilled with the pin 1" above midline and 3.5 from pap.
the Mb is placed 4.5 from pap. sanded to 800.

in long oil patterns the ball seams to roll and arc well. hooking where my other ball were not.
in a shorter heavy pattern. it opens up the midlane and backend with a decent angle. on a house pattern I can get a pretty big reaction out of it.

it is nice fit between my other balls when I want to transition between my Animal( all midlane arc) and my Unleashed (all backend). I generall don't transition between to reaction lengths but If I need to I can.

I have also found it to work well on a OOB shot. if I run out of room on the inside I can go right up the OOB and keep it in play.
