Please explain something I read in BTM
« on: October 02, 2010, 07:34:32 AM »
I read something this morning that confused me... I am speed dominant. Consequently, I am always looking for something that rolls early so I don't skid past the break point (lefty)...

Today I was reading the review on the AMF Shredder. Now, the ball itself isn't the point of this post, but a sentence in the review is...

Paraphrasing pg 28 comments from BTM of August, it said....
"The typical skid/flip ball can be sensitive in oil and tend to skid past the break. Although we did not see this in the Shredder, we're sure it can happen to some, but they would be most likely speed dominant. However, that type bowler should be throwing long and strong type balls anyway".

Not "shouldn't"... "should". Seems to be long and strong would go past the break for my type of player...

Just to make sure I'm not nuts, I need to ask the question...

Typo, or am I missing a concept somewhere????
