Was talking to a friend about him getting a ball plugged and re-drilled, talking about layouts etc. Told him he should put the pin above the ring finger and c.g below maybe to the right a bit for the reaction he was after. Bout a 4" pin, give or take.
Caught up with him after and another driller had come in when they were punching up the ball. He said because it had been plugged that would effect the c.g location, so he made them put the pin a least 2-3" (from memory) above the ring finger and the c.g just underneath it, and said the c.g "was actually out to the right" because the ball had been plugged.
is this actually right?? i've never heard of plugging effecting the c.g location or pin, or anything. i thought this was quite strange and the ball reactions not as good as it could be.
