Stinger Low Flare Pearl 13 lbs (how to drill it?)
« on: April 11, 2004, 04:26:38 AM »
I've been offered a FREE bowling ball, Stinger Low Flare Pearl (who wouldn't want a free bowling ball!)  The ball has been used and because of it's light weight, it has the same core as a Vortex 2.  The problem with the Stinger is that it is pearlized and it doesn't hook alot.  I was wondering how I could ask to drill the ball for the most potential hook on the ball.  Thanks

Just so you know, they have different cores.  I don't believe Ebonite changes cores in their 13# equipment.

V2 would start up earlier and flare a lot more.  Drilling a Stinger Low Flare Pearl is going against it's nature.  Like anything else, 3 3/8 x 3 3/8 would give you the most hook potential.
