That I am 4 1/2" up and 1" Axis....Okay I am assuming that is my track and that I spin the ball. Now would we say that's a low track? Also he thinks I should try a RICO drilling. He said I might get a better reaction. I feel like such a Noob. Can anyone in laymen's terms explain all of this. Yes, I am pretty sad when it comes to this sort of thing.I am however trying to learn it.I kind of understand the cores and coverstocks somewhat. Anyway I would've put this in the begginners forum but, I've been bowling for a few years. I am just tired of not knowing what exactly everyone is talking about. Thanks in advance!!

I imagine he said that your axis was 4 1/2 over and 1 up unless your ball looks like a top going down the lane.
Your track diameter will tell more about your roll than your axis coordinates.
Just because a person has a short PAP it doesn't neccesarily mean they are a low tracker. Michael Fagan for example has an PAP that is over 3 1/2 and up 1 1/2 which would make you think he was a spinner but he actually has a pretty large track diameter.

I usually agree with Re-Evolution, but I'm going to have to take issue with this. A short PAP does mean a player is a low tracker (or at least medium-low), but, as he says, it doesn't have to mean he is a spinner. A spinner has a small track diameter, or high axis tilt. A low track is measured by distance from the thumb and finger holes (which is reflected in a low horizontal PAP dimension). Spinner/non-spinner is determined by track diameter (axis tilt). -- JOhnP
