Problem of bowtie with Super Carbide Bomb

Hello to all,
My friend has a big problem with the Super Carbide Bomb. His PAP is 5 7/8 away from the centre of grip and 1 ¼ up. The SBC is a pin out 3 ½ and the drilling is Pin-PAP 4 ½ Pin in the safe zone just ½ inch above the ring finger and the CG is about and 1 ½ inch in the right of the centre. A weight hole is under the PAP (centreline). The problem is the bow tie is quite low, just and inch above the middle finger and ½ inch in the left, it cause the two last oil ring run over his middle finger.
How can he correct this problem? Could someone explains me how to move the bow tie to avoid the problem of track over the middle finger and do we have a formula pin position, bowtie or weight Hole, pin position bowtie?

He could get something that doesn't flare halfway around the ball.  

One possibility is to move the weight hole above his PAP.  I believe lower weight holes tend to raise the bowtie (which is part of the point of the hole in a Rico drill), so higher weight holes should lower the bowtie.

I think shelley is wrong in thinking your friend needs to lower his bowtie.  He actually needs to raise it higher to get the later flare rings away from the finger holes.  The sure way to do this would be to plug and redrill the ball with the pin further into the safe zone, probably well above and to the right of the finger holes.  Plugging the balance hole and moving it lower might do the trick also, but perhaps someone with more knowledge on the subject than I have will comment.  You could also call Lane1 and ask their opinion of where to put a balance hole to solve the problem.  --  JohnP

My friend's driller has allready try to change the position of the balance hole but he has no result. My friend don't speak english and mine is very poor, we are from France , why I can't made the real explanation by phone to lane1 staffer, it's too hard for me.
With my little knowledge, I think at first, reduce the flare of the ball by placing the pin further from his PAP and do something to higher his bowtie but how can we do?

As a side note that may not help: the bowtie should be 6 3/4 inches from the balance hole through the pin (or at least in that line.)

My driller tell me that bowtie is in the same line of PAP-Pin is him right?

For a ball with a symmetrical core and no balance hole, the position of the bowtie can be approximated by drawing a line from the PAP through the pin to the first track oil line.  I'm not sure how the balance hole affects that or if it still works with asymmetrical cores.  --  JohnP
