so i made up my mind and this are gonna be the first 2
the layouts are gonna be
punisher: 4" pin,the pin 3/4" above of the right finger, and the cg 1/2" to the right in the center of the span
zone classic: 4" pin,the pin 1/2" beside (in the same line) of the right finger, and the cg 1/2" to the right in the center of the span
i would keep the coverstock just with the factory finish and then ill see
any sugestions or advices?
i want my punisher to play in the track area and outside and the zone classic to swing it just a little
i am a cranker that throws 498 rpm in the bowlers map with 19mph of speed
thanks a lot

i dont know much about this
what do u mean with that john?

quote:

jonah300 -- We'll use this one as an example. The pin out distance is the distance between the pin and the cg on the undrilled ball. Let's say your cut to cut span is 4 1/2". To get the pin and cg where you want them, the pin out distance has to be roughly (depending on your PAP) 3/4" + the diameter of your ring finger hole + half of your span. For a 3/4" finger hole, that would be 3/4 + 3/4 + 2 1/4, or 3 3/4" pin out distance. If you get a ball with a 2" pin out distance, you can't lay it out as you have specified. Unless you didn't really mean "in the center of the span", but just somewhere in the palm. -- JohnP

yeah u are right john
thats why i said a 4" pin
i mean 4" between the pin and the cg

jonah300 -- Sorry, I thought you meant 4" pin to PAP distance. -- JohnP

but what do u thimk about those drills...
i want control
are they correct?
would u recommend me another ones or another ball?

mmmmmm geee....all i know is that i throw 498 rpm in the bowlers map with 19 mph speed...i keep my wrist really cup in the point of my release and that makes my ball to roll pretty early thats why i am having troubles to play in the track area or in dry conditions

jonah300 -- You need to find a good ball driller that will watch you bowl, locate your PAP, then he can help you with the layouts to get the reaction you want. -- JohnP
