How much does flares on finger........

really affect your bowling? Other than making you fingers oily and constant wiping of the finger holes or insert, does it affect your roll / axis rotation and any other things? Please explain.

If you can stand the thumping, it won't affect your roll or carry at all.  --  JohnP
