Question about Pinky Holes...
« on: December 14, 2012, 09:00:00 AM »
Hey for those who have drilled them, and for those who use them, do they reduce axis tilt and rotation, or is it the opposite and do they add tilt and rotation?

Thanks,

I am not a ball driller but went from a 184 to a 206 average in one year with 12 more 300 games between sanctioned and practice games. I have increased my rev rate and can now throw with either more roll or come off the side of the ball a bit easier. I was having carpal tunnel issues and decided to try it. If the driller isn't smart enough to drill an angle away from the ring finger and add another 1/8" away from it then you might end up collapsing the ring finger wall as one of my ball drillers has done 3 times  . Also only need to drill down the distance from the first crease of your pinky and fingertip. Mine drilled down as deep as my other finger which added to the problem of wall collapse. My cousin tried my ball and when he returned to his ball driller in another city and had it done he bowled his first 300 game within 2 weeks. We do whatever we have to in order to enjoy the game. Don't let others dissuade you from trying it.
