I have a friend that just purchased a usa gold with a 1.5 two inch pin.  He has speed bout 16-17 above avg revs.  He was curious if u were to drill this ball to go long and break late to try to get the max backend out of it would the ball smooth out or give a lot of hook throughout or what and also what drilling would u suggest to use to get max backend hook out of a ball with that type of pin.  Also he can not use any drill with pin under fingers or tracks over the thumb  hope to get many opinions.
