Title: Question on Oil Track

On the Morich site they have a Drilling Layout Questionare.  One of the questions pertains to:
"Arc lenght of the bowler's initial track" "Distance across initial "oil" track"
Has anyone here completed this questionare?
How do you get this measurement?  I need a thorough explanation on how to do so, so I can complete the questionare.
Any help would be appreciated.
