- some said that if you are a stroker and play up the boards then it's best that your ball is drilled pin-out and
if you are a cranker and plays a big hook, then you should drilled the ball pin-in...
How true is this statement...it's making me kinda of confused how I am going to drill my next ball...
Does anyone have any article that explain the different types of drlling

Pretty basic, but good to understand what different pin positions are good for.
Higher pin will yield length and delay the break point, a lower pin make the ball hook earlier and smoother. But there are many factors involved in the proper setup choice (ball material, core dynamics, lane condition, player's style, intended reaction shape, lane surface, and more), so I'd be careful with general statements about which drilling to use.
