Not looking for deep analysis on this one, but in general... Looking for my brother. If I look at a right handed bowler's ball, consider this...

On ball #1 the pin is 3/8 inch above ring with MB just to the right of thumb
Ball #2 has pin just barely below middle finger and MB in same position next to thumb

To me, there's not much difference, but that answer should be wrong. Pin up goes longer, but pin below middle reacts later also... What is the real answer please?

I believe the real answer depends on where the pin is in relation to bowlers P.A.P. and not where the pin is in relation to the finger holes.

Correct starts at pin to PAP, asymm to symm, then factor in all the bowling stats. then the lane condition.  There are no easy answers.
